Dr. Grace Itiowe

Grace Itiowe is a Physician and award-winning Certified Patient Experience Professional. She obtained her Medical degree at the University of Jos, Plateau, Nigeria, then went on to residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at The University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Nigeria. She holds a master's degree in healthcare administration (MHA) from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, Texas. From a young age, intrigued by the impacts of social determinants of care on overall health, she determined to positively influence patient/consumer experience, in and outside the healthcare system. This has defined her career journey for over 15 years.

Successfully, Grace has initiated processes and influenced the establishment of policies to sustain best practices needed to enhance patient health and safety as well as ensure patients have an optimal experience, in all Hospitals where she has worked. She has trained, established and lead Patient/Consumer Experience Teams with impressive results/testimonials. Grace has publications in healthcare and non-healthcare journals and books. She also received awards following presentations at local and international conferences. Her sense of fulfilment is derived from giving back which she does joyfully. Passionate about impacting the 'less privileged' she frequently, organizes outreaches and supports many nonprofit organizations, locally and internationally in varied capacities. Why a Golden Experiences Ambassador?
I am passionate about influencing greatness, that is why I am a Golden Experiences Ambassador. At the age of 12, I accompanied my Mom and her outreach team to a rural community in Nigeria, West Africa. We were surrounded by grim faces, bare malnourished looking bodies of children and tears in the eyes of hapless mothers, I felt chills. Moments later, I keenly watched the tender interactions as they received food and clothes. Wow! The beautiful smiles that broke through those initially grim faces felt so heartwarming, at that time my call to empowering the Indigent was evident. I am committed to carry on that torch lit by my Mom.

Mrs. Modupe Ojumu

Modupe Ojumu is an economics instructor at prairie view A&M university, prairie view, Texas. She has a passion for teaching and has been volunteering to serve as a children's church teacher in her local church about 25 years ago. She loves children and is passionate about their success in life; it comes as no surprise that she is still diligently serving in the children's ministry. She loves to work with people, whether they are peers, superiors, subordinates or clients. She also enjoys community service and currently serves on the board of the parent teacher organization (PTO) of her daughter's school as the treasurer.

Modupe delights in coming up with mutually beneficial solutions to problems. She knows that there is no better satisfaction than putting smiles on people's faces. She has a B.S from the university of Ibadan, Nigeria, where she studied agricultural economics. With her B.S. Degree, she worked with one of the largest banks in Africa - united bank for Africa (UBA) for eight years before she relocated to the united states. With UBA, she worked in bank operations as a relationship specialist and rose to the position of a branch operations manager. Due to her quest for knowledge, she returned to graduate school and earned two additional graduate degrees. The first one is in agricultural and resource economics from Tuskegee university, and the other is an MBA from prairie view A& M university. She has been married to the love of her life, dr. Oluwagbemiga Ojumu, since 2003, and they are blessed with three lovely children - a boy and two girls. She loves to cook and bake in her spare time.

Why a Golden Experiences Ambassador?
Helping people, especially the less privileged, is something that gives me great joy. The sense of fulfillment that accompanies nurturing children, and watching them blossom is unrivalled. Giving back to the community and seeing that people in my community do not lack their basic needs make me believe in the goals of Golden Experiences. As such, becoming a Golden Experiences Ambassador is an easy decision for me since the objectives of the organization align with what I believe in, and would love to be involved in. Caring for the vulnerable and less privileged is central to the values of Golden Experiences, which is a demonstration of our faith.

Dr. Victor Ezeh

Victor Ezeh is a Physician and a Certified Clinical Research Professional with concentration in cancer therapeutics. Victor obtained his medical degree from the university of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria and proceeded to residency in Surgery at The University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Nigeria. He also holds a master's degree in health administration (MHM) from Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria.

Victor is very passionate about the bond and integrity of family as he believes that the integrity of any society is a reflection of the families. He resides with his wife and two lovely children in Texas, USA. Coming from a socio-economically poor background, he understands the challenges of the less privileged and is passionate about outreaches and programs focused on the less privileged with the goal of empowerment. As a physician, Victor has successfully worked and impacted many lives in resource poor settings, delivering healthcare to the less privileged. With the understanding that the overall health of an individual is a composite of both physical and psychosocial needs, Victor works close with his patients to deliver wholistic care - spirit, soul and body. As a Clinical Research Professional and inspiring leader, Victor works per excellence on various therapeutic indications - the overarching goal being to deliver better disease outcomes while motivating his team to stand out positively.

Victor he is an exceptional teacher and counselor, great with youths/young adults. For him - The whole of life's battle is a made-up mind!

As a Christian, I walk in the steps of Jesus. He went about doing good and meeting the needs of the needy. Someone has to be Jesus to the world today and show the love that is commanded in his word. I see Golden Experiences as a great opportunity to be the representation of Jesus to someone.

Steve Adebayo - I am a product of God's grace and kindness embedded in humanity. I have 25 years experience using Information Technology in different sectors of the economy to provide automation and increase efficiency. My college education was a gift from family and friends. I have worked and travelled all 5 continents and I have a passion for mentoring for success. I have been part of organizations that champion help in different formats, and I have capacity to think through, organize and ensure that maximum benefits of such organization can be given to the recipients.

Over the years, my experience has thought me that there is need in our society for a platform or group of people that will provide launching pads, helping hand and guiding thoughts. Dr. TaShauna McCray

TaShauna McCray is the Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare. In this role, Dr. McCray oversees the clinical, operational, strategic, and financial performance for the hospital's nursing service line. Prior to joining HCA Houston Healthcare West, TaShauna served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center. Dr. McCray has had a rich and varied leadership career including Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Director of Nursing positions in such departments as Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Critical Care, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Education, Neurology, and Staffing Services. Dr. McCray has devoted her professional career to developing authentic leaders to transform care delivery for improve patient outcomes. As a catalyst of change, Dr. McCray also has expertise in performance improvement and physician relationship development.

McCray received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from University of Arkansas-Monticello and Master's degree in nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston. Dr. McCray graduated from Texas Tech University-Lubbock in May of 2015 with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with an emphasis on executive leadership. Dr. McCray received her MBA from Prairie View A&M University in August of 2018. Her professional affiliations include: American Organization of Nurse Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, Texas Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Theta Tau International. Mrs. McCray is actively involved in her community. She currently serves a Mentoring Mom for disadvantaged youth and she volunteers to serve the homeless through community partnerships such as Impact Houston Homeless Ministry. Dr. McCray also enjoys mentoring graduate students and developing healthcare leaders.

Temitope Michaels, A Civil Engineer with over 18 years of experience in Civil Engineering projects, engineering designs, building and telecommunication infrastructural deployment. A team lead in effort to process changes that encompass company-wide issues, delivering challenging projects on schedule and meeting stringent quality standards and liaison with tough clients; with improved company performance in focus. Furthermore, he displays excellent interpersonal skills to drive company forward with excellent analysis of engineering bottlenecks and to proffer solutions. Highly proficient in the use of several computer software packages. Always in search of a higher challenging roles in any field to utilize, develop and enhance both existing natural gifts, managerial and engineering skills.

Ms. Patty Waters

Patty Waters has recently graduated with her Masters in Healthcare Administration and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I enjoy bringing people, ideas, and inspiration together to ensure the lives of others will be positively impacted. I have always looked to help and truly be the change I wanted to see in the world. I first found my passion for the quality-of-care the elderly receive while on a mission trip to Guatemala and visiting the only nursing home in the city. I also volunteered at the orphanage there for the week and it was an amazing and truly life changing experience. As I began to volunteer at my local assisted living, I then worked there on my breaks from University as a Caregiver. I pursued Business Administration and Healthcare Administration as I still have plans to own and operate an Alzheimer's and Dementia Community. I still have a soft spot for children, specifically foster youth as I am a former foster youth and I want to give back and inspire others that they too can dream big and accomplish what they set out to do. I am a current CASA volunteer and I volunteer with local non-profit organizations in Austin.

Why a Golden Experiences Ambassador?
I have decided to be an Ambassador for Golden Experiences as I have had a passion for the quality of care specifically for Elderly since I was 15. My passion has grown to include children especially in foster care and be a steward of my faith and walk with God. I have recently been accepted to be part of a mentorship program that includes other Christ Leaders in the Austin area and I am excited for this role as an Ambassador to be part of my plan and see how God can continue to use my passion to do His great work. I care deeply for the wellbeing of others and I know Golden Experiences would be a great way to make a positive impact and be of service to others in need.

Mrs. Cherise Antoinette Cooper

Cherise is a Social butterfly that loves people! She loves giving back to the community by donating her time, knowledge, and compassion. She has been employed with Woodforest National Bank for almost eight years and enjoys it there because it is a community bank. She has four children, two stepchildren, and a grandmother of two. She loves traveling the world with her husband when not working or involved in other extra curricular activities.
